Flying

Brian recently had to be checked out in a small aircraft. Knowing how much Alek loves airplanes we paid for an extra hour to take him up. As we took off Alek look out the window and with pure delight screamed "We're flying, we're actually flying!"

Who says eggs can only be colored on Easter?

I now have the opportunity to spend a bit more time with Alek and am trying to make the effort to allow messes without going totally crazy thinking about cleaning it up. I took him to the store with me and he insisted I purchase eggs, at the time I wasn't sure why he wanted so many eggs...then it dawned on me! So we bought the eggs!

Halloween

Alek was creeped out by the pumpkin "guts"
We took him trunk or tricking at the church. He had so much fun! He was suprisingly polite the whole time, minus when the other children took to long to get their treats and move to the next car. He put his club lightly on their backs and forced them forward to the next car. The whole week after he went around saying picture treat knocking on all the doors in the apartment.

Airplanes

Knowing that we weren't going to be here along we have tried to squeeze in as many adventures as possible. At an airport in Norman Oklahoma we were able to get up close look at several airplane and helicopters. Both Brian and Alek we crazy, and realized how much I miss flying in the small airplanes.

The short bus

Alek has always had a unhealthy obsession with buses. The other day we saw a short bus drive by. He was thrilled screaming see the bus daddy? Mommy see the bus? I replied Yes honey, that is the short bus. Since then he has been telling us he wants to ride short bus at least 20 times a day! Somehow it is better then a regular school bus!
